Sale of Traffic Diversions Group

Canterbury Partners is pleased to have advised the Shareholders of Traffic Diversions Group (‘TDG’) on their divestment to Altus Traffic (‘Altus’).

Founded in 2005, TDG is the leading provider of traffic management services in Victoria with over 200 vehicles and more than 500 traffic controllers. The company engages on projects of varying size, from major infrastructure works to smaller private projects. Significant projects for TDG have included the Monash Freeway Upgrade and the West Gate Tunnel Project. TDG also specialises in rail projects and has provided traffic management services on several level crossing removal engagements.

On the same date that the divestment of TDG to Altus completed, Pacific Equity Partners (‘PEP’) finalised its acquisition of a majority stake in Altus. TDG will be integrated with Altus, giving PEP exposure to a traffic management services business of significant scale with operations Australia-wide.
