Canterbury Partners is pleased to have advised the shareholders of Go-To Skincare (‘Go-To’) on the divestment of a 50.1% stake to BWX Limited (‘BWX’) for $88.7m.
Go-To was founded in 2014 by Zoë Foster Blake, supported by technical Co-Founders Paul Bates, Stefan Drury and Peter Lehrke to disrupt a complicated and confusing industry with best-in-class formulation, communication, connection and education. Go-To offers an easy, simple, efficacious and curated skin care essentials range that focuses on face and body products in the masstige sub-category of the premium skin care market. In addition to the core Go-To range, the portfolio includes Gro-To (award-winning plant-based skin care for babies and kids) and Bro-To (the ‘brother’ brand of the Go-To range).
The shareholders mandated Canterbury Partners to find a culturally compatible partner that could accelerate international and domestic growth, as well realise some of the significant value they had created.
BWX presented a culturally sound and strategically compelling partner for the Go-To shareholders through its skin care expertise and extensive international distribution network. Go-To’s management team will remain with the business to deliver future growth in partnership with BWX.
