Canterbury Partners is thrilled to have advised the founders of Ultra Violette in a cap raise process that resulted in the commencement of an exciting partnership with Aria Growth Capital.

Founded in Melbourne by Rebecca Jefferd and Ava Chandler-Matthews, Ultra Violette is a market leading prestige beauty brand pioneering a new product category, SKINSCREEN. In 2019, Ultra Violette founders recognised the importance of including sun protection into a daily skincare routine and identified a gap in the beauty market for a high-quality SPF that does not compromise other skincare routine steps. Ultra Violette emerged as a market leading and trusted skincare brand, known internationally as the pioneer of SKINSCREEN formulations that provide users with the benefits of premium skincare with the added protection of SPF.

The key objective of Canterbury’s mandate was to find a compatible, minority investor capable of providing strategic support to help Ultra Violette in its next phase of growth, in particular its planned expansion into new regions.

Based in the US, Aria Growth is a highly credentialed partner with a demonstrated history of success in consumer products and a deep understanding of the key international markets relevant to Ultra Violette.
