Acquisition of Imaging Associates

Canterbury Partners is pleased to have advised Advent Partners on the acquisition of a majority interest in Imaging Associates Group (‘IAG’).

IAG is one of the leading independent providers of diagnostic imaging services in Victoria and regional New South Wales. Established in 2008, the Company operates across five private practices and holds hospital reporting contracts with Eastern Health in Victoria and Murrumbidgee Local Health District in regional New South Wales.

IAG provides reporting of x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine and other radiology services. The Business has grown rapidly to 51 core reporting doctors and 150 staff, with five established practices across Victoria and New South Wales. The Business is led by experienced radiologist, Chris Holden, who has been a key driving force behind IAG’s strong growth since inception and will continue to lead the Business in partnership with Advent.

IAG continues Advent’s successful tradition of healthcare investments. Previous healthcare investments include GenesisCare, Primary Healthcare, Cochlear, and Integral Diagnostics.
